To whom it may concern
Visegrad, 07.10.2001
On behalf of the European Council of Artists the participants of the 2001 Visegrad conference ask for European and national support for the former and still present art colonies.
They have been serving as important meeting and working places for artists not only from the regions but also from all parts of the world.
Various art colonies are still centres of investigation, scientific explorations and theoretical debates and discussions. They fulfil an important task in the practical exchange of artists, scientists and intellectuals.
Yours sincerely
